Steps You Will Go Through When You Hire An Interior Designer

An interior designer is a trained professional who is hired to create beautiful spaces. They can be hired for residential homes or commercial premises. Some designers have specialized in one area but others do both. As much as designers take the aesthetics of a place into account, they also focus on functionality because a space is meant to be used. You can hire an interior designer before you build so that they can work with your architect and contractor to design the right space for you. An interior designer involved in this early stage will ensure that rooms are a good size for placing your furniture. After the building is complete an interior designer will help with paint colors, fixtures, flooring, faucets, counter tops, wall surfaces, and accessories. The steps you will go through when you  hire a designer are:

Needs assessment meeting
This is your first meeting with your designer. Here you will discuss the space you want to be designed. The designer will want to know who will use the space, when and for what purpose. They will want to know how big the space is and how many people it should accommodate. You will go through the good features of your space as well as the bad.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Architecture

Pre-planning Stage
Here, you and the designer will discuss if there will be any structural changes to your space. This is the design phase stage. Structural work can be major or minor depending on a client's needs. Before any renovation work begins the designer will make sure that any furniture that should go into the room will fit. This is called the furniture placement plan. The client also shares the textures they would like on their walls and floors at this stage.  Click feng shui

Implementation stage
At this stage, you can tell your designer the colors you would like in your space. You will also tell them the style you prefer and your expectations of a space. You will also discuss your budget for the furniture and accessories for the project. After the designer has advised you on what will work and the rough estimates for all the work, the designer will go shopping. Some clients let the designer handle all the shopping alone because they are too busy. Other clients go shopping with the interior designer to see what is available in the shops. Along the shopping trips, clients may change their minds when they see what is available. This can be a good or a bad thing. But the interior designers can advise the client well since they will be shopping together. Go to www.interiorflow.com.au
